Capital of the region, with a population representing a third of the territory, is one of the historic-artistic and monumental most important of Aragon.

Founded by the Moors in the eighth century and conquered in 1120 by Alfonso I the Battler.

The mural in the church of San Miguel and the large collection of retablos exposed both Museum of History and Arts and in the Basilica of Santa Maria form a pictorial ú , Nico Aragon.
