Acered

Acered is situated on a hillside in the Santa Cruz Mountains, about 22 km, of Daroca and is dominated by the parish church dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin, interesting for its decor yeserí ace Mudejar tradition, made around 1674 by the architect Juan de Marca.

In a beautiful location about 4km. of Acered is the chapel of Our Lady of Semon, XVI century, which highlights its rococo altarpiece. This chapel is one of the most visited area, especially during the pilgrimage of the second Sunday in May. Popular tradition attributed to the Virgin's intercession in many miraculous acts.
Within the architecture, citing his five peirones, a refrigerator, a source of silleríay the chapels of the Holy Sepulchre or Soledad, and San Roque.
Its festividadesa highlight San Blas on February 3, where spruce aceredanos is typical with sashes and batons as priors and butlers. The Brotherhood of the Holy prepares a meal with roast mutton on oak wood fire. Other gastronomic elements are their sausages, their reposteríay your wine from old vines Grenache.
